Small abundances

I'm keeping it short up top, in large part because I waxed poetic in the garden tips section below (look for the bright Tahiti daffodils; we planted more than 50 of them so look for more in spring!). We also have a bunch of announcements, including our first ever Black Friday sale, and our subscription 2025 kick off, now with a limited number of spring subscriptions too!

And of course, amaryllis. Some of them are shockingly close to blooming. An early Christmas present for you?

All of that is below. Keep scrolling to find it.

But first, please allow me one brief moment of contemplation on gratitude: I recently stopped by the garden to see if there was anything left for a sweet customer who stopped by the house to see if there was any way we still had flowers leftover for his wife's birthday. Turns out we had *just enough* flowers to make that wish come true. Sometimes it feels like we need abundance to make us happy when really all we need is just enough.

Of course it helps happiness levels to have abundance, especially when the abundance comes in a myriad of small ways. Not only did I find just enough flowers, I also found the pair of snips I had given up for lost. I wouldn't have found them if I hadn't gone to the back of the property for some bittersweet berries, a last minute thought. Additionally, I wouldn't have found the one chrysanthemum that survived our gophers. Thanks to 3 Porch Farm and their generous knowledge sharing, I know we can overwinter it and try again next summer. All of that combined really put me in the Thanksgiving mood.

Lots of good stuff below, especially for locals or those visiting Greeneville in the coming days and months. For those of you farther afield, the philosophical ramblings return next week.

Counting you amongst my blessings,

Meg
